Susette Crenshaw
Susette is the Workforce Development Director for Associated Builders & Contractors Illinois Chapter. She actively recruits low-income adults, underserved youth, and members of the re-entry population to participate in the Association's Community Builders Program; a program designed to offer opportunities for individuals with barriers to employment a pathway into the construction industry.
Previous to ABC Illinois, Susette worked for the Safer Foundation providing program and support services to incarcerated/formerly incarcerated men and women. She was the Program Director for
Community Trust (CNC) training, Department of Labor (Training to Work 1 &2), and Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunities These programs gave participants a second chance and an opportunity to receive an Industry-Recognized Credential. She spent several years at the Illinois Department of Correction Facilities (SPISE) as Regional Coordinator overseeing prerelease Employability Training to inmates within 6 months of release.
These experiences has led her to become the President of Creative Minds Academy & Musical Arts Center where she will advocate for workforce development.
Byron Crenshaw
Born in Chicago, Illinois, is an American Guitarist with 20 years of experience in the music industry. Byron has a very unique gift to play the guitar and has the capacity to play different genres of music that will move your very soul. The smooth and soothing tones will give you a peaceful experience when you hear his music. Byron reads chord charts and has the ability to play by ear; this talent has made him valuable to any recording project within the industry.
Byron’s experience as a guitarist has allowed him to play for some of the biggest churches locally and abroad. To mention a few; Pastor John Hannah, Bishop Horace Smith, Apostle Greg House, Chicago’s very own Leanne Faine, and Martha Munizzi.
Byron is CEO of Creative Music Group; a studio production and media company. He is also Co-Owner and Founder of Jospel Music along with long time partner Rickey Hawkins. This record label strives to make creative and inspiring music, but most of all provide resources to up-and-coming artist to get their music off of the ground. Our services and studio will help make their projects a reality.
Byron’s previous experiences have allowed hime to found and become the Vice President of Creative Minds Academy & Musical Arts Center. Thanking God daily for the vision and the confirmation. He has come too far to turn around.
